Following the Weekend
After the weekend, a group forms for those who want to continue the work of the Circle. Although this is optional, those who continue have found it to be a very meaningful support in their lives.

The Women's Circle staff will facilitate the first 6 meetings of the ongoing women's group. Two weeks after the weekend, a workshop will be offered giving women the opportunity to further integrate the work of the Circle into relationship. This workshop will begin laying the foundation for ongoing Circle work and is included in the cost of the weekend.

At 4 months and 1 year, optional workshops will be offered to strengthen the connection between each woman and to deepen the process of the group. The cost for each workshop is $75

The Vision of The Women's Circle
The vision of the Women's Circle is to discover a deeper connection to our selves, to recognize the gift of womankind, to enrich all of our relationships and to become more mindfully active in our communities.

The weekend provides women with an opportunity to share their stories within the context of all women's stories.The leaders will guide each woman in this process through experiential exercises, dialogue, music, journaling, ritual and play.

Women's work is evolving, creative and healing. It embodies the power of the heart. Within the Circle, women join together in exploration and growth to:

- Strengthen their voice
- Embrace their courage
- Honor their compassion
- Connect with their hearts' wisdom.

The Weekend begins at 7pm on Friday evening and ends at 1pm on Sunday. The retreat is held at a beautiful wooded setting 2 hours from Chicago. For inquiries please call us at: 847-328-6328.

Ireland 2006: Journey to the Heart of the Feminine
The Women's Circle facilitators Kay Gardner & Wendy Kopald also hold women's retreats on the beautiful and magical Clare Island, off the west coast of Ireland. This is an area known to have deep connection to the ancient roots of the sacred feminine. Surrounded by the nourishing and restorative energy of the island, women will have the opportunity to move deeply into their hearts and souls, leaving behind their everyday concerns.
