The Women Circle:

"To Thine Own Self Be True"

Nosara, Costa Rica February 27- March 5,  2016

We are now in our 21st year of The Women's Circle, providing retreats for more than 1000 women. Each experience brings something new and exciting and inspiring.  "To Thine Own Self be True: An invitation to Authenticity". Please join us for a week where you will learn to live in alignment with your truth; the wisdom of your heart & soul. This will include self nurturing, restoring, exercises, yoga, meditation ,ritual and play. Afternoons are free to explore the area, or to just relax by the pool. The experiences on these retreats have been joyful, insightful, & filled with music and life forming friendships. Afternoons are free time as well as the sixth day, Friday.  Wendy Kopald, LCSW is co-leader of The Women's Circle. She is a psychotherapist in the Chicago area, and she leads workshops on women's issues and peace initiatives with women. She studied the ancient South American medicine wheel and integrates that into the retreats. In her spare time, she is a jewelry maker and is working on her writing skills.  This work is close to her heart as she has witnessed the powerful experience that communities of women create.  Kay Gardner, LCPC is co-leader of The Women's Circle. She is a psychotherapist in the Chicago area and is a lead trainer for The Internal Family Systems Therapy. Kay's practice also includes Hakomi, body centered therapy, and she is a certified yoga teacher who integrates that into her therapy practice. She is trained shamanically and uses energy techniques in her work.  Much of the foundation of the way that Wendy & Kay work reflects the trust, compassion, love and validation that they have experienced in their 20 year friendship. The retreats are always filled with music, laughter, joy, movement, and insight.  They love leading these retreats together and seeing the bonds created on the retreat build into friendships that last years.
